The NFL has had its players vote on the top 100 players of the season for the past 13 years, but the Chicago Bears hadn’t seen a quarterback featured until now, as Justin Fields is officially ranked 86 in the top 100 players of 2023.
The 24-year-old signal-caller has been praised by opposing players since he stepped on an NFL field. In a video posted by the NFL Films Twitter account, San Francisco 49ers star pass rusher Nick Bosa said this about Fields “He’s probably the best running QB I’ve ever seen.” Bosa also acknowledged that Fields passing will only get better as he grows in the Bears' offensive system.
Justin Fields proved to be an exciting quarterback in 2022 as he threw for almost 2,500 passing yards with 17 touchdowns and 1,000 yards rushing along with eight scores on the ground.
Other NFL players went on to add more about Justin Fields.
"When I saw that play against Miami, I was like bro is different," said Baltimore Ravens linebacker Roquan Smith.
Washington Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin also came to the young quarterback's defense.
"He has fought through a lot of adversity. He never complains or points the finger," said McLaurin.
It’s just the beginning of a new and exciting era of Chicago Bears football with Justin Fields under center.
