Graham, one-half of the dominant IDL duo in Ann Arbor, is at the top of the draft boards as we approach the 2025 NFL Draft. As a Junior, Graham would rack up 45 tackles (7 TFLs,) and 3.5 sacks in 12 games for the Wolverines, leading to being named an Unanimous All-American

Strengths:

  • Will be a better athlete than anyone you put in front of him.

  • Quick hand-set allows him to get to the opposing OL before they can get set. 

  • Wrestling background.

  • High-motor.

  • Finishes plays at a high rate.

  • Elite lateral quickness; helps avoid reach blocks and clogs up holes.

  • Pushes opposing OL off balance after initial contact.

  • Very agile for his weight.


Weaknesses:

  • Graham doesn’t have the ideal length teams look for in the typical DT.

  • Doesn’t possess a great pass rushing move-set.

  • Needs to work on driving guards; collapsing pocket from the interior.


Summary: 

Despite lacking the prototypical size, Graham possesses the traits that you see in a long-term IDL, likely could develop into a superstar. Mason Graham will keep up the opponents’ OL coach because Graham will outwork anyone in front of him.
